Chris Watson

Chris Watson (b. 1952) is a British musician and sound engineer. In the 1970s he was a founding member of the Sheffield-based experimental industrial and techno band Cabaret Voltaire. Since 1981 he has made sound recordings in nature, especially of wildlife. In 1996, he was awarded the BAFTA Award for Best Factual Sound. In 2006, he received an honorary doctorate from the University of the West of England in Bristol.
