Emeka Ogboh (b. 1977) is a Nigerian video, sound, and installation artist based in Berlin. He studied at the University of Nigeria in Nsukka. Ogboh was one of the founders of the platform VAN (Video Art Network) to promote new media in Nigeria. His installations have been shown at numerous biennials and exhibitions, including the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015, Skulptur Projekte Münster in 2017, and Documenta 14 in Kassel and Athens in 2017. In his audio installations and gastronomic works, Ogboh explores how private, public, and collective memories and experiences can be mediated through sound and food.
