Norman Foster

Norman Foster (b. 1935) is a British architect. He studied at the University of Manchester and at Yale University New Haven. In 1967, he founded the architectural firm Foster + Partners in London. His building projects include the rebuilt of the Reichstag in Berlin (1999) and the skyscraper 30 St Mary Axe (called The Gherkin) in London (2004). In 1999, Foster received the Pritzker Prize.
