Hubert Klumpner (b. 1965) is an architect and the principal of the design studio Urbanthinnktank, originally founded in 1998 together with his former partner Alfredo Brillembourg. Klumpner is also the Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at ETHZurch. Urbanthinktank’s practice spans architecture, urban design, curatorial, installation, and digital art and research projects. The studio's focus on cultural and civic projects, which address the changing role of institutions and the future of urbanization, the interface of informality, and the design of architectural prototypes for spatial justice, underscores their commitment to societal impact.
