The Alps, mountains in general, geology, snow, natural forces, climate change, tourism, the sublime and the view from above into the distance have always inspired art and architecture. Thus, art has shaped our view of the Alps, whereby art and sciences went hand in hand for a long time when discovering the Alps. Hence, the forum’s participants talked about their involvement on the subject of “Mapping The Alps” from different perspectives with many different backgrounds
The talks took place on August 27 and 28 in the Halle am Plazzet in Zuoz. Flurin Wieser, commune president of Zuoz and Cristina Bechtler, initiator of E.A.T., welcomed the audience.
Curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Beatrix Ruf.
