With Xue Tan having joined the curatorial team as its newest member, Engadin Art Talks embarks on their next chapter. Under the theme 'Repair Repair', the 16th edition will take place in Zuoz from 22 to 24 January 2027. This edition, we're taking a new approach: alongside the established talks, this edition of Engadin Art Talks will feature a diverse programme of performances, exhibitions, activations and music taking place at various locations throughout the village.
The programme brings together artists Mirko Baselgia, Sandra Knecht, Tino Sehgal, Sissel Tolaas and Juliette Uzor; architects Peter Zumthor, Carla Juaçaba and Xu Tiantian; and author Leïla Slimani.
The theme 'Repair Repair', chosen by the curators, is an invitation to collectively reflect on and discuss processes of repairing, restoring and rethinking. At a time of global upheaval, the focus is on the power of repair, not only in a material sense, but equally in social, cultural and ecological terms.
The curatorial team of Engadin Art Talks consists of Daniel Baumann, independent curator and former director of Kunsthalle Zürich; Hans Ulrich Obrist, artistic director of the Serpentine Galleries in London; Philip Ursprung, art historian and professor in the Department of Architecture at ETH Zurich; and, newly, Xue Tan, chief curator and head of programme and exhibitions at Haus der Kunst in Munich.

Alongside the established talks, this edition will feature a diverse program of events: exhibitions, performances, music, activations, and gatherings, all unfolding across various locations throughout Zuoz.
This new format creates more opportunities to encounter art, exchange ideas, and come together. Not only for E.A.T. participants and visitors, but also for the local community.
To further lower the threshold to join, we now offer discounted tickets for CHF 50 to attendees under 25. We are delighted to make the festival more accessible than ever before, creating opportunities for the inhabitants of Zuoz and the surrounding region, as well as visitors from further afield, to meet, engage with one another, and experience the program together.
Though some events will remain exclusive to ticket holders, others will be open to the public and free of admission.
Because Hotel Castell is undergoing intensive renovations following its change of ownership, it will not be possible to book a room at the hotel this year.
We therefore recommend booking your accommodation in Zuoz or the surrounding villages as early as possible, as hotels are expected to fill up quickly around the dates of the event.
