Armin Linke

Armin Linke (b. 1966) is an Italian photographer and filmmaker based in Berlin. He was research affiliate at MIT Visual Arts Program Cambridge, guest professor at the IUAV Arts and Design University in Venice and Professor for photography at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe. His works have been shown at biennials and exhibitions, including the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2006, 2012 and 2014, the Taipei Biennial (2012), and the 10th Shanghai Biennale (2014). Linke combines different image processing technologies, herewith blurring borders between fiction and reality. He questions the formation of the natural, technological, and urban environment.
