Catherine de Wolf (b. 1989) is a civil engineer and lecturer. She studied civil engineering and architecture at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels and the Université Libre de Bruxelles. De Wolfe received her doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge for her dissertation on low carbon pathways for structural design and embodied life cycle impacts of building structures. Since 2021, she is Professor of Circular Engineering for Architecture at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) Zurich. Her research focuses on digital innovation towards a circular built environment.
