Chris Dercon (b. 1958) is a Belgian art historian and curator, specializing in the relations between ancient and contemporary art. He has directed and developed several international museums, such as the Haus der Kunst in Munich, London’s Tate Modern and Berlin’s Volksbühne Theater. He was President of the Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais and is currently managing director of Fondation Cartier.
