Daniel Baumann is a Swiss art historian, curator, and writer. He was was a contributing writer for Exhibition #1, Kunst Bulletin, Parkett, and Spike Art Quarterly and has co-curated the touring exhibition ‘SNOWCA$H’. Baumann received the Swiss Award for Best Curator in 2006 and was appointed Special Advisor for Frieze in 2009. Having been the curator of the Adolf Wölfli Foundation at the Kunstmuseum Bern and at the Carnegie International in Pittsburgh, he is currently the curator and director of the Kunsthalle Zurich.
