Francesco Bonami (b. 1955) is an American curator and writer of Italian origin. He studied art history and scenography at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. Since the early 1990s, he has worked as an art critic and curator. In 2000, he was co-curator of Manifesta 3. In 2003, he was director of the 50th Venice Biennale. In 2019, his book “Post: L'opera d'arte nell'epoca della sua riproducibilità sociale“ was published.
