Hernando Chindoy Chindoy is an expert in traditional knowledge, biodiversity and ecosystem services. He has 20 years of experience in participatory research working with indigenous people and formulation of comprehensive life plans and/or mandates and action plans to overcome the scourge of drugs in rural communities in Colombia. His legacy is in the constant defense of a deeper and more open approach to the relationship between plant intelligence, indigenous autonomy and legislation, which he demonstrates in practice through the Wuasikamas-Guardians of the Earth initiatives and the process of establishing the International Pluriversity ËCONEÊRÃ- “knowledge to harmonize, not to invade.” Hernando has been an Invited speaker at various universities in Colombia, the Americas and Europe.
