Jonathan Ledgard (b. 1968) is a British novelist and an expert in advanced technology, nature, and risk in emerging markets. Since 2012, fellow and director, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne. Since 2018, Visiting professor in AI and Nature at CVUT. Since 1998, frontline foreign correspondent for The Economist; lead stories from 50+ countries and many wars. Author of 'Giraffe', (2007); 'Submergence' (2012, Hollywood version 2017).
