Josiah McElheny (b. 1966) is an American artist and sculptor, primarily known for his work with glass blowing and assemblages of glass and mirrored glassed objects. His work engages with the history of ideas across wide-ranging fields of study—from literature to architecture, music theory, and astronomy—transforming this research into physical form. In 2006, he was the recipient of the MacArthur Fellows Program. He currently lives and works in New York City.
