Kenny Schachter is an artist, writer and lecturer. Schachter has written for MIT Press (on Paul Thek) and a book with Vito Acconci for Springer-Verlag and co-authored a handbook on digital art, published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2023; and, has a regular column on Artnet and contributes to various international publications, including The Art Newspaper, New York Magazine and The Times Magazine (UK). In 2023/24, Schachter had a mid-career survey at the Francisco Carolinum Museum in Linz, Austria, accompanied by a publication; a retrospective at Joel Mesler’s Rental Gallery, NYC in 2018; and, is represented by Nagel Draxler Gallery in Germany and Alex Berns Gallery in NYC. Most recently, Schachter curated a Paul Thek exhibit at Thomas Dane Gallery in London, 2025.
