Mai-Thu Perret (b. 1976) is a Swiss artist of French-Vietnamese origin. After studying literature at Cambridge University, she participated in the Independent Study Program at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City in 2002. In 2011, she was awarded the Zurich Art Prize. That same year, she participated in the 54th Venice Biennale. Perret’s artistic approach is multidisciplinary; her practice includes texts, installations, and performances on themes such as feminism and utopianism.
