Mohomodou Houssouaba

Mohomodou Houssouba (b. 1965) is a Malian writer and literary scholar based in Basel. After studying literature and modern languages, he was trained as an English teacher in Mali. He attended literary writing workshops at Illinois State University and then specialized in African-American literature and studies of the African diaspora. Houssouba writes books, holds lectures, and is working on building a website in his native language Songhay.
