Patrizia Vitali is a Swiss artist living and working in the Lower Engadin. The centre of her artistic practice is the body as an organ of perception. Her work explores what acts upon bodies and how they change, adapt, and learn from one another. She understands the human body, along with the elements and forces that surround it, as bodies of equal value and as interconnected matter in a constant state of exchange. Her work creates spaces for physical experiences, mutual influence and the perception of the constant flow through and transformation of bodies. For several years, she has been exploring the healing springs of the Lower Engadin, developing new drinking rituals that enable community among people as well as a deeper connection with the landscape.
