Roya Sachs

Roya Sachs is a London-based curator and artistic director, and co-founder of TRIADIC, a creative house specializing in cross-disciplinary, experience-based art that sits outside of conventional institutional contexts. Her collaborative approach often blends visual art with technology, sound, and site-specific interventions. She has curated exhibitions and performances for institutions and companies such as Lever House, Performa, AEG, Google, LAMB Gallery and Spring Place. Her artistic collaborators include Doug Aitken, Nick Cave, Guerrilla Girls, Toiletpaper, Peter Halley, the Campana Brothers, Karole Armitage, Adam Pendleton, Adam McEwen, and Katherine Bernhardt. From 2016 to 2019, she served as curator of the Lever House Art Collection in New York. Through TRIADIC, she co-founded FORMAT festival in Bentonville, Arkansas with Live Nation in 2022. Other recent projects include: ‘Still Here’, a book of more than 100 still-life images and writings by creatives across five continents during the global pandemic; curating Mondegreen Festival in 2024 for the iconic jam band Phish, with over 40,000 attendees; and since 2022, being curators-in-residence at The Art House in Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center, producing site-specific commissions, visited by over 150,000 people. Roya also serves on the Board of Directors of Performa and the Advisory Board of AucArt.
