Xue Tan is a curator, producer, and writer from Hong Kong. She is Chief Curator and Head of Programme and Exhibitions at Haus der Kunst in Munich (since June 2024). Tan was the founding Senior Curator of Tai Kwun Contemporary in Hong Kong, where she played a key role in the institution’s conception and established its unique live and media programme from 2015 to 2024. She has curated numerous solo presentations and new commissions, and led curatorial projects in collaboration with MUSEUM MMK für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt and the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College in New York. In 2025, she is co-curator of the 15th Shanghai Biennale, 'Does the Flower Hear the Bee'?
