ELLI MOSAYEBI: TRACES, PATHS AND SPACES

About the talk

In this video, architect Elli Mosayebi focuses on the work of the Italian architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni. The architect, who worked primarily in Milan in the 1950s and 1960s, created spaces in which the human movement and changes in perspective play an important role. In the post-war period, he also began collaborating with the sculptor Francesco Somaini, who created mosaic floors with organic forms for Caccia Dominioni’s buildings.

“In these mobile and moving rooms numerous connections between human beings and space are established. Art and life are not just juxtaposed, but are placed in connection.”
