Sustainability as it is currently defined is not sufficient, argues Andrew Morlet. Only a rapid shift to a circular economy will enable the world to regenerate itself. Morlet is convinced that a radical shift in thinking must take place to accelerate this change.
“Sustainability as it is currently practiced is about reducing the harm of the linear economy, slowing down the damage. We know this will not have the desired effect and is not transforming the economy.”
