In his welcome address, Romeo Cusini, Mayor of the municipality of Zuoz, warmly welcomed participants to the 15-year jubilee edition of Engadin Art Talks. Reflecting on the year’s theme Bond and Gaps, he spoke about human connection as something fundamentally rooted in the body, drawing on scientific thought to suggest that early, embodied experiences shape us long before conscious memory. Cusini closed by encouraging open reflection on the bonds and gaps each person carries, and wished the audience inspiring and meaningful encounters during the programme.
