Jeannette Kuo presents two institutional building projects realized by her architectural firm in Switzerland: The Weiden school building on Lake Zurich (2013) and the Institute of Sports Sciences at the University of Lausanne (2013). In both projects, the relationship of spaces to each other and acoustics play a central role. Kuo’s architectural work responds to human needs; her buildings enable exchange as well as retreat into silence.
