BEN MOORE: THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE OF OUR MOON

About the talk

Ben Moore focuses on the relationship between mankind and the moon. He points out the relevance of the moon during the Cold War. The Apollo program in the 1960s and 1970s led to man’s conquest of the moon. Moore turns to the physical characteristics of the moon. How does the moon's movement affect the length of our days?

“Over time, earth day is getting longer and longer. In the past, the length of our day was not 24 hours, it was about 5 hours long, and its slowly getting longer.”
