In a cross-continental call, Cristina Bechtler and Bice Curiger reach out to Swiss artist Christina Forrer for a conversation about her practice and her preferred medium of artistic expression: weaving. Forrer talks about how the long and painstaking process of weaving freed Forrer from the endless possibilities of painting, her discovery of the tapestries of Swiss textile artist Lise Gujer and the definitive state of a tapestry.
